Kepler Mission

NASA’s Kepler Mission is a telescope or light meter specifically designed  to search for earth-like habitable planets orbiting other stars. The Kepler mission has been active since March 2, 2009. If you are skilled at pattern recognition, you can visit the website of Planet Hunters, a collaboration between Yale University and Zooniverse, and help sift through the data collected by the Kepler mission. Many discoveries have been made, including the Kepler-22b.
